Introducing the incredible local talent performing at STORYTELLERS!

Billy Lyve

Billy Lyve is a nationally-known hip-hop artist, owner of Wisdom Court Entertainment, CEO of Movers and Shakers Enterprises, and founder of a nonprofit which he named Find Your Purpose, all based in Westminster, Md.

Billy is a multi-faceted artist and front man of the multi-genre band iLL LuCK. With a unique sound that infuses Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, and EDM, iLL LuCK has been making some noise on the music scene. The band’s influences include, but are not limited to, Rage Against the Machine, Eminem, Linkin Park, 2Pac, and Nas.

In his youth, Billy’s winding path was just like the path of many young people. Trouble in school, trouble at home, and no idea where they are heading is what defines them.

Today, Billy’s life is like a powerful message that things can get better and that “you are important”.

Kim Harberson

Born in Louisiana and raised under the sun in Houston—and a few warm corners of the world—Kim has always had a taste for adventure. She didn’t see snow until age 15, when she left for boarding school in Indiana (Culver Girls Academy), trading palm trees for a winter wonderland.

Music became part of her DNA early on. At 17, she first stepped on stage as the guitarist and lead singer of The Blind Pilots, and she’s been performing ever since. While her love for worship leading came later, her passion for connecting through music has been there from the start.

Outside of music, she’s a proud wife to Steve Lowe, a mom to a perfect 12-year-old son, Sammy, and a devoted dog lover. She’s also been horse-crazy since the age of six, when she took her very first riding lesson in Rickmansworth, England—a love that’s never faded.

And yes, she’s still a die-hard Houston Astros fan, no matter where life takes her.

Mike Ferrante

Mike has been a part of the music scene of Carroll county for 20 years. Mike has used his gifts primarily in the local churches and on the stage for a couple local theater companies. Mike is Miranda’s husband and father to four sons . He is the pastor of Freedom Church in Westminster.
